Illinois may divide electoral votes

Bill now in the Rules Committee, which is Democrat-led.

Text of HB7351, proposed by Jim Watson.

S J-R is on board, but dubious.

You have to be joking! With a Democratic governor, and both houses of the legislature controlled by the Democrats, and a safely blue state (Kerry by ten points) they're going to do something to guarantee the GOP a share of Illlinois' electoral votes--with no reciprocity whatever from any red state?!

If you beleive that they would do that, I've got some swampland to sell you... (Not in my opinion *should* they do so, at least not without some reciprocal gesture by a red state.)
