three more seats in the House

four more in the Senate, including the first Republican Senator in Louisiana's history.

and the Presidency. Largest popular vote in history. 3+ million more voters for Bush than Kerry.

And!

the highest elected Democrat is defeated in his home state by a Republican who had lost before.

11 States approve amending their constitution with a gay marriage ban. This included liberal Oregon, and Ohio even bans civil unions.




In Illinois, this is what we call a full-on ass whoopin'.
