Back in the Saddle

A weekend in Wisconsin rockclimbing with some (very smart) Democrats. Sometimes it was hard to determine which was more exhausting. But we kept it light and fun and had some good laughs.

Some highlights:

D: "You're a Republican?! Really? But you're a climber. Don't you care about the environment?"
R: "I do care. Do you know of any enviromental laws in totalitarian countries?"

D:(feeling a small scratch on his leg)
R:"You do know the club doesn't give Purple Hearts for that stuff?"
D:(throws head back in laughter)

R: "Look at it this way, Kerry losing just clears the way for Hilary."
D: "After 4 more years of Bush, there may not be a way."
